Hi, I’m Stephen Leon, a freelance cinematographer and filmmaker based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

I’m passionate about storytelling and love every aspect of filmmaking, from writing and directing to cinematography and editing. My goal is to build strong, professional relationships while using my skills to create impactful, meaningful content. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and that storytelling has the power to connect and inspire. Along with my work in cinematography, I have experience in drawing, storyboarding, scriptwriting, and digital editing, all of which fuel my drive to make a difference through film. I’m also an Electrician with over twenty five years experience working in residential, commercial, and studio lighting.
